Estate committees
Run your estate’s waste collection as one contract.
Five Port Harcourt estates have already signed up this way — a single agreement with the committee, one monthly invoice, and every household covered without residents arranging it individually.
Port Harcourt is divided into three route zones. Your street is assigned to one zone, and that zone is serviced twice a week on fixed days. Look up your street on the Pickup Schedule page to see your days, recycling day and service window.
Place your container curbside by 06:30 on your collection day, and bring it back in once the truck has passed. Container lids must be closed — loose waste slows the route for your whole street.
Residential households on a scheduled route pay a flat monthly service charge; commercial accounts are quoted on volume, frequency, bin type and access. Every price is confirmed in a written quote before service starts.
Report it the same day through the Missed Pickup form or call the service desk. Verified misses are collected within 24 working hours at no extra charge.
